The Belgian SB20 Association is pleased to announce that Devoti Sailing is offering a selection of SB20 boats for charter at the upcoming SB20 European Championship in August 2024. This includes brand-new boats, one-regatta-old models, demo boats and high-quality trade-ins giving the competitors a fantastic opportunity to race in top-tier equipment.
Charter Details:
- First-come, first-served basis for boat selection.
- Price: €5,000 + VAT (excludes sails).
- Boats are delivered race-ready with tapered sheets and halyards.
- Competitors must bring their own safety gear, paddle, and sails.
- Charter period: 7th - 22nd August (one flat fee, no discounts for shorter durations).
- Specify your first sailing day and rigging requirements for efficient logistics.
- Freight cost of €1,400 per boat (return to Devoti) is included in the charter fee.
Additional Services:
- Rigging and unpacking: Devoti Sailing can rig and pack up your boat for €500 + VAT.
- On-site support: Devoti Sailing and the new BeNiLux dealer Dinghy Racing Center will be present onsite from 9th August, offering a full service shop, chandlery and spare parts.
Sails & Parts:
- Limited availability of one or two regatta-old sails for charter—please enquire.
- New sails: Place your order now to ensure delivery before the event.
- Pre-order all parts and sails as soon as possible to secure availability.
Insurance:
Competitors must arrange their own insurance, including third-party coverage.
One option to explore is VDWS: VDWS Insurance.
Option to Buy:
Charterers will have the opportunity to purchase their charter boat at the event with the charter fee deducted from the final sale price.
