Upon arrival

When arriving in Ostend please follow our recommendations closely.

There are 2 locations where it all happens:

Location Churchillkaai is where you drop off your trailer, the boat weighing and measurement procedure takes place and where the boats will be launched with one permanent crane and one mobile crane.

A steward will then designate your parking place (1 car per team) and indicate your reserved parking for your trailer. Your boat will then be towed to the mooring area at location Montgomerykaai. This is the spot where you’ll find the RNSYC Clubouse and the Race Village (registration, team weighing, briefings, after sail events etc)

In between both spots we are planning a regular RIB taxi service.

For more information about the harbour visit RNSYC website

Parking options for your boat and trailer during the event

When arriving, and before lauching, your trailer will be parked at walking distance of the boat crane area by one of our parking guards. Please note that this parking is unattended so do not leave valuable stuff there. Do you have a dock bag ? You can store it in the Race Village, located just aside the mooring area at the Montgomerykaai.

For leaving your car(s), we provide different options. Please consider that the city of Ostend will be crowdy during the Championship period and parking spots are hard to find or… expensive. Per boat team, we will provide one free parking space at the Churchillkaai. Preferrably choose the car in which you keep spares, tooling etc… If you have multiple cars , we will direct them to free parking lots outside Ostend.

Extending your stay ? Mast up and mast down options

Mast up and unlimited craning in between events (location Churchillkaai)

  • April 2025 –> Europeans: 600 euro
  • Belgian Championship –> Europeans: 400 euro
  • Pre Europeans – Europeans: no extra cost

Mast down and secured parking on 5km from the RNSYC : no costs involved, but you have to drive the boat to the parking and back.

Please note that the  parking spots at the Churchillkaai with mast up are limited but still available.

Contact info@rnsyc.be for any enquiry.
